University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Library — Sustainability Initiative Co-design
We are working with the UTS Library leadership team to co-design staff-centric activities supporting UTS’s broader sustainability initiatives. We are facilitating co-design workshops and assisting with organisational communication strategies to encourage the adoption of sustainability practice within the Library.
Cancer Institute NSW — eviQ User Experience
Zumio is working with the Cancer Institute NSW team to streamline the eviQ evidence-based cancer treatment information system. Through workshops, user experience evaluation and stakeholder interviews we’re aiming to align key navigation pathways with key user needs.
Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) — Online Service Design
Working with our partners The Interaction Consortium and Toben, Zumio is contributing to the redevelopment of the MCA website to co-incide with the reopening of the iconic MCA space after renovations in early 2012. Zumio is employing a service design approach to deliver a positive brand experience to MCA visitors, encompassing online tools that support both online and offline engagement, across many aspects of the MCA business — from curatorial to retail.
Investa Sustainability Institute
Zumio was engaged by the Investa Sustainability Institute to facilitate strategic workshops and roadmap development for the Green Buildings Alive programme.
Caring for our Country
Boomworks partnered with Zumio to develop the social engagement strategy for Caring for our Country, the Australian Government’s programme for funding environmental management of natural resources. The development of the plan coincides with the redesign of the Caring for our Country website being undertaken by Boomworks. Zumio is also provided user experience support for the project.
Other recent projects
Flavour Crusader
Zumio have carried out design research, prototype development, workshops and user testing in support of the Flavour Crusader initiative, which is development a mobile application to leverage social technologies such as mobile phones, Twitter and location services as a response to important challenges related to food security, health and climate change. Cancer Institute NSW — Website & Social Media
Zumio worked with Cancer Institute NSW to better understand the needs of the NSW cancer community to inform their website redevelopment. We are also facilitating the development of the Institute’s social networking engagement policy and campaign strategy.
Saasu
Zumio assisted the Saasu team with strategy development and User Experience planning to deliver increased value to both Saasu and their customers.
National Film and Sound Archive
Zumio supported the Interaction Consortium to develop a social engagement plan for the National Film and Sound Archive. The plan included recommendations for mobile application development that will be reflected in a mobile website redesign due for launch in Q3 2011.
