We adapt our approach to your needs, employing a variety of tools to assist you in achieving your objectives. The listing below provides an introduction to some of the services we offer.
Social business & product design
Social business & product design incorporates three distinct but interwoven elements:
- Employing social engagement and experience design practices across your business to reveal fresh opportunities, reduce business risk, and improve products/service delivery
- Designing for social usage – designing products for communities; considering the impacts and interactions of a business or product in a social context
- Achieving social and sustainability outcomes by understanding participant motivators and barriers to create more effective communications, products and/or services
Our action research approach allows you to capitalise on the benefits of engagement early and often – setting the stage for success and helping ensure your investment is best placed to achieve your objectives.

Co-visioning and capacity building
Involving the people your organisation interacts with in your visioning process can be a great way to uncover unexpected insights and build commitment to the resultant vision.
Similarly, increasing your organisation’s understanding of emerging business trends such as social networking, online collaboration tools and iterative development approaches can help your organisation take advantage of latent opportunities.
We can facilitate workshops with your team, stakeholders and constituents/customers to:
- Raise awareness of how emerging trends may (positively and negatively) impact your organisation
- Creatively respond to opportunities in the “conversational marketplace”
- Provide training and support for staff in techniques and tools for effective engagement
Workshops are typically half- or full-day events, and we can tailor-make or adapt an existing workshop programme to meet your specific needs.

Objectives and brand mapping
To achieve your organisational objectives and produce a tangible return on investment, it is important that we understand and map out a clear picture of your vision, objectives, brand values and positioning.
Depending on your requirements we can employ value-based branding techniques and qualitative research methods with people inside and outside your organisation to evaluate your current positioning and desired path forward, analysing and recommending action steps to close any identified gaps.
Implementation support
We can oversee the execution of specific campaigns, programmes or products (e.g. a specific website) to help ensure that they are meeting your strategic objectives and to evaluate and evolve projects based on learning “from the field”.
This includes identifying appropriate points and models of community engagement, project planning and budgeting, as well as vendor selection and management.
We are experienced in and advocate iterative management practices due to the benefits they provide, but we are also comfortable working within traditional project management models as required.

Industry workshops, seminars and presentations
If you are a conference organiser, we can also present or run workshops at your event on the topics of social business design and social network engagement, especially as they relate to environmental and social sustainability. Please contact us if you’d like to discuss your needs further.
